My STYLE OM “Meteor” model is the king format for fingerstyle playing (fingerpicking / fingerstyle).

Here are the styles and techniques where it excels:

• Fingerstyle & Fingerpicking (Folk, Blues, Ragtime): The shallow body provides an instant attack. Each note comes out immediately with equal clarity, without the thumb (the bass) muddying the frequencies of the trebles.

• Polyphonic playing & complex arpeggios: Since the mid frequencies are very well defined, the sound remains clear even when you play rich chords or multiple melodic lines simultaneously.

• Studio work / recording: Its natural balance of bass, mids, and highs needs very little equalization in the mix. It does not produce uncontrollable low-end resonances (boomy) that are often found in Dreadnoughts or Jumbos in front of a mic.

• Solo playing or in a small acoustic ensemble: Its great articulation allows the guitar to cut through the mix without needing to increase the overall volume.
